This is a story just about Martin. Hes the leader of the Gang of Three, and the classroom joker. He lives in the unsanded East End where there is a try brew of fresh, Caribbean, African and Asian families. He cant really feel the damage, you see, because of the painkillers. Martin has a lot of thinking to do, and in his hospital room he has the time and space to do it. Obviously, he has to come to hurt with his new and damaged face.
