Digital Marketing Technology on Cloud Computing- myassignmenthelp
Question: Discuss about theDigital Marketing Technology on Cloud Computing. Answer: Definition of Cloud Computing According to Hashem et al. (2015), cloud computing is basically a type of outsourcing with computer programs. With the use of cloud computing, the applications and the software are accessed from wherever the user wants that is usually hosted by some outside party. The computer programs are outsourced by implementing cloud computing. While using the cloud computing, the user do not have to worry about the storage systems, the power of the system and simply get the final result. The computing services are delivered by the technique of cloud computing. The services that are provided are storage, software, databases, servers, and networking over Internet. The companies who offers computing services are known as cloud providers and charge a particular amount for the service they are providing, which is mainly based on usage. Types of cloud services There are three types of cloud services. The types of cloud services are: IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service): This is known as the best practice of all the services of cloud computing. The IT infrastructure can be rent with the IaaS service of cloud (Abdelwahab et al. 2014). The infrastructures that are provided generally has the servers and the virtual machines, operating systems, networks, and storage from cloud provider on the basis of the pay. PaaS (Platform as a Service): This service is provided with the supply of environment that is on demand so that all the processes including development, test, delivering the project, and also managing the applications of software. PaaS makes the task easier for all the developers so that there is worrying about managing and setting of the infrastructure. SaaS (Software as a Service): SaaS is generally a method that is used to deliver the application of software over internet, deliver of the application is on demand based on subscription (Zhang et al. 2014).With the help of SaaS, the providers of cloud manages and hosts the application software, and also underlines the infrastructure, and handle the maintenance such as security patching, software upgrades and many more. The application is connected by user over internet and via web browser on tablet, phone, and on PC. Types of Cloud Deployments There are basically three types of cloud deployments: public cloud deployment, private cloud, and hybrid cloud Public Cloud Deployment: The public cloud is generally owned and are operated by a cloud provider who operates as a third party. The service provider helps to deliver the resources like storage as well as servers via the Internet (Truong and Dustdar 2015). An example of cloud provider is Microsoft Azure. With the help of public cloud, cloud provider manages the software, hardware and all the supporting infrastructures. Private Cloud Deployment: The private cloud that is included in cloud computing resources are mainly used by organization or businesses. The private cloud is generally located on the datacenter of the company (Chang, Kuo and Ramachandran 2016). Some of the companies work on private cloud and take services from other service provider. The private cloud is considered as one of the services that provides the infrastructure of the private network. Hybrid Cloud Deployment: The hybrid cloud is a combination of both the private cloud and the private cloud that are tied together with the help of technology so that they can allow other applications and data to share in between them. With allowing of applications and data to transmit freely in between the public and the private cloud, the hybrid system serves as a flexible system. Need of Cloud Computing All the online services that are done such as sending an email, editing a document, watching movies r televisions, playing games, listening music or some other tasks, are done with the help of cloud computing. Cloud computing always works behind the screen while dealing with all the activities that takes place (Fernndez et al. 2014). The services that are provided by cloud computing are not very much old but most of the organizations from small to large global corporations, non-profit organizations, government agencies, uses the technology of cloud computing. The advantages of cloud computing are: 1) New applications and services can be created; 2) Store the data, recover, and backup of data can be obtained; 3) Cloud computing hosts blogs and websites; 4) They help to deliver the software as on demand; 5) They also helps to analyze the data patterns so that predictions can be made. Advantages of Cloud Computing The advantages of cloud computing is as follows: 1) Lessen the cost: The capital expenses that are included in buying, implementing, and marinating software and hardware are much more and cloud computing helps to eliminate those extra expenses (Chen et al. 2015). The cloud computing helps to rack server, helps to save the electricity, and faster cooling of the system. It makes the system faster. 2) Increases the speed: The services that are provided by cloud computing is generally a self service and when demanded, the resources of computing are provisioned within some time. The speed of the works generally speeds up with flexibility and provides capacity planning. 3) Global Scale: The benefits that are provided by services of cloud computing mainly includes the ability for measure the elasticity. The right quantity of resources in IT sector such as computing the power, bandwidth, and storage are provided by cloud computing. 4) Productivity: Generally a lot of headache is included with the hardware setup and the software patching that are included system. Those set up are also time consuming. The aim of cloud computing helps to remove all the basis needs that are served by all the tasks, so that the organizations or businesses can meet their goals. 5) Performance: The most important service that is provided by the cloud computing is to keep the data secure and the datacenters are automatically upgraded from the older version to the latest generation making the system faster and computer efficient. The network latency is generally reduced by the services that are provided by cloud computing. Disadvantages of Cloud computing The disadvantages of Cloud computing are as follows: 1) Usability: The user using the services of cloud computing should use the system carefully (Katyal and Mishra 2014). The user should carefully drag and drop all the documents to move from one place to another place. Copying and pasting is not allowed in Cloud computing. 2) Bandwidth: Specific bandwidths are allowed by some particular services of cloud storage. Additional charges are charged with the business uses the surpass badwidth that is allotted to them. 3) Accessibility: The great disadvantage of cloud computing is that if the internet connection is not provided, the user cannot access the data stored in cloud. 4) Data security: The security of data is the most vital part while dealing with data. The privacy and the safety of the data that are stored should be maintained. There is also a possibility that the data is not secured and there is a chance of insecurity of data.
